Exile Is Imminent
What are the Si`ten you say? There are two types of Si`ten. There are Kemis and Dekemis or for all you worthless human beings that means male and female. Judging on their age they are Re, Ne, and normal. Re = zero-twelve while Ne = thirteen-nineteen and normal = twenty-death. What separates them from the human race is they have the power to use magic. It is an ancient art that Si`ten pass on through their genes. It makes them also known as the NetherRunner’s. They love peace and despise the human race because of their wrong doing. There has only been one war in all their history and that is known as the Battle of Life and Death. In that war the maniac Minsulvin was fighting for ultimate power however he had no chance at the start because he had maybe one tenth the population on his side. Kemis physical appearance is the same as a human except stronger in every way because of the great immense power in each one. Si`ten also have keen hearing because of there lengthy and pointy ears. Whenever one is born they are given a treatment to the eyes that makes there eyes also keen. That is all.
Prologue
“Dude, are you sure we want to be doing this?” said a Nekemi
“Relax, what could possibly happen?” said another Nekemi
“Umm, the cops could come, and than we would have to go to prison, Sie.”
“Dude, what are the chances of that going to happen?”
“Sorry to spoil your fun but it’s pretty likely.”
“Can it, Sthigin.”
Sie crept along the floor of the dark, empty, ventilation of the building. He had thought out his plan more times than he could count and had decided it was the best way to get out of his home town, the biggest city, Atone, on Sphirid. He and his friend, Sthigin, had wanted to leave the place since 5 years of age but their parents would not let them go. They had snuck… well, just read on and figure it out. After 1 minute of traveling squatted down, Sie found the entrance to the shaft where the huge fan was. He leaped down onto a post that was above the fan about 1 foot. After the jump of 10 feet he got out his sword that he was carrying and put it into the fan right next to the beginning of it. If anyone has ever seen a laser sword than they should be able to figure out what happens next, but for those who have not, the laser sword completely tore the fan apart and it fell down to the bottom of the shaft. For sure a guard must have heard it thought Sie, but it was to late to turn back now.
Sthigin lost control and said, “Gosh man, just bring down the whole place and we might be able to succeed but I guess I will still have to trust in your judgment if I want to get off this Rock and back onto it on the other side.”
“You had better, unless you can get me to agree on a plan that you have made, not possible.” Sie whispered back.
Earth
“Is he the one?”
“Yes he is.”
“If I were being sent to earth I’d rather die.”
“Ya, me too.”
There had been a little accident on Atone. A Nekemi called Secret Sighter Noshynock, Sie Noshee for short, had been forced to his limit and then, on the clean glistening streets of that city ten bullies had been laying dead because of his anger towards them.
There is much to tell about this boy. This is the one that was born that day on Consune the 13, 2004. This boy called Sie Noshee was unusually talented and would be very important to any military factor ever required in the next one hundred forty years. His history is sweet and to the point. However, life it seems to him is just a playground waiting for him to conquer. He has made A’s in all his academics except English and Reading but in sports of all types he has won most of all the games ever played. A few years back he had killed ten bullies treating him bad because of his uncontrollable magic. His lawyer had had the case held up in court for three years and only now had the jury decided that his punishment would be, for an accident, sending him to earth for life. This is where the greatest chapter of his life will ever happen or is it?
He was a sixteen year old Si`ten, that was called a Nekemi, with brown rubbery spiked hair and bluish green eyes that look like marbles, should you have ever seen marbles of that color. He weighed one hundred fifty pounds and was five foot six and a third inches tall. His sword was taken from him by the police but he would find another one on earth as soon as he could. He was wearing blue clothing that was produced only on A, with a cloak on his back made of the same blue cloth. His skin was light peach. His smile made everyone feel happy all over and his angry face struck fear in the hearts of all enemies.
The capsule was launched for earth as the red light blinked in the passageway of Melcad. Sie looked out the window of the crucible shaped capsule and could see the stars moving faster then he had ever seen them move before as he was jettisoned into space. The capsule had cushions on the bottom with a silver wall going up to the top. Sleep overcame him in the dark and after three hours he felt a crash! He looked out the window into pure daylight with our sun circling him in a south-east fashion. The button which opened the capsule started blinking a dark shade of red as he punched it and the door opened. He walked onto the green grass and felt the gravity weaken upon him. He decided to jump up and when he did he went twenty feet into the air and came down slower then he could ever imagine. Sie guessed that earth was smaller then Atone and gravity was less there. Because of his math skills he guessed his athletic skills were all increased by nine hundred percent. Sie looked around as he saw a farm house of red coated paint and the shed made of metal reflection a glow to his eyes almost blinding him.
WHOOSH! A purple ball almost hit him but he heard it coming with his pointy keen ears and ducked as it fell down on the green glossy ground a little ways away from him. Sie turned his head to see some kids playing. Apparently, one of them had thrown the ball.
“Hey mister. How are you doing?”
”Ok kid. No thanks to you.”
“Oh, sorry. My friends dared me to throw that ball at you but I guess you’re not human otherwise it would have hit you. Plus, your ears are too pointy for me.” They boy smiled at him as he said this.
“Whatever kid. Now, could you please direct me to the nearest town?”
“Sure, go down that road and follow it to the nearest city.”
“By the way, where am I?”
“What? Omy gosh, I bet you really are retarded so I will tell you. You are in America.”
“Thank you, you freaky little kid.”
After Secret responded, he started to run up the road. He was in shape and could run about twice as fast as any car could go. In an hour he saw a sign that said “Welcome to D’s Hill.” He looked into the town. The town was very strange indeed because there was no one in the town to be seen. Walking along the middle of the town in its dusty wits he saw many houses that were beaten up with roofs barley hanging on and in one of those houses he saw three computers. On one computer he saw a girl, another one a man, and the last his wife all playing. This was very strange to him because he had never seen people corrupted by computers to the point where the victims never left home. He figured he should leave this mad town at once and started his journey toward the work that shall get him back to Atone. He knew that the police could not stop him forever.
The fields were green and covered all over with flowers as he passed with the orange-yellow sun shining and the birds cawing in the forget me not blue sky. The horizon showed of slick silver that one was most likely to slip on. He liked earth so far except the people on it. For one, the boy who threw the ball, and two, those weird victims of brain sucking computers, were starting to scare him. He saw pools of bluish water were he took a sip, just like home. It actually made him homesick at the time. You see he had thought he had got over his feelings back on Atone.
Then, in the midst of his running, he saw a sign that said “New York or New Work, that is the Question.” The clue hit him like a ball hit’s a batters bat in a ball game. This would be the place for him were he could get inside the government and the place were his old life would only become a memory, unbeknownst to him but now that I told you it is known to us.
He rushed along the freeway and then stopped when he found the street and “normal” people walking instead of running so fast. He saw the empire state building and said to himself that that was very tiny. The smoke got in his hair as he walked from the sewers. His cape dragged on the gravel roads with all kinds of filth on them about two inches from his feet. Sie could see pipes of all sorts on the brick red with little white lining apartment buildings. The big buildings with signs that sad school he thought were where the humans let there children play as this is miniature size compared to his planet. He saw people of all sorts going around. Some without shirts and many tattoos and some girls with dyed hair of blue were running around like cows on a rampage. He was wondering how the earthlings could pollute their city like this and why their styles of cloths were so awkward even though he was being stared at the whole time. Besides, he was about to start chocking. He also saw hotels and taxes. The strangest thing was little stores along the street then were outside with a sheet covering the top.
“Shoot this gravity is killing me. I weigh like nothing. I’d better figure out how to increase it soon or I will be out of shape and Atone will feel like a burning nightmare.” A man about twenty without a shirt and a big tattoo across his chest came up to him and reached out his hand making no noise as he touched Sie‘s waist. “Hey get off my cloak, HIYA.” Sie kicked him so hard he went flying ten feet.
He reached the ally’s of New York, New York where in the top right hand corner a spider was busy at work with the street wet and damp from due dripping off the hanging window seals of the apartments when he saw a man and asked “Hey do you know where a man like me can get work?” It was a rectangle ally with two dumpsters in the back.
In a low gangster voice the so looking hobo in a red cloth said “Ya I might know. You ever think of a dangerous job that might kill ya if you screw up just right because that was some mighty good fighting back there.”
“Well I wouldn’t mind it but if it’s something in the army I bet I could.”
“No, not in the army but in Black wave.”
“Black wave? What’s that?”
“It is an organization of heavily armed men who protect the earth from disaster.”
“Like fires? No thanks unless the pay is good. See you old timer.” Just when Sie was about to leave the old man got out of his hunchback form towering six feet and grabbed Sie by his shirt getting dirt all over it dragging him to the back of the ally.
“HEY LET ME GO IM WARNING YOU!“ Before Sie could cast a spell they were going down an elevator down, down, down. Above the dumpsters slid back into place. They reached a hall where at the end there was a kind of red tipped torpedo with a black bottom looking thing. On top if you were looking a view from the top there would be a dugout semicircle for the torpedo. The walls were just more bricks only not as red as the apartment’s.
“Get in here kid. You can thank me later. By the way, what’s your name?”
“Secret Sighter, Sie for short.”
“That’s weird but no more talk. Let’s go into this torpedo and get to the base. I bet I’ll be seeing you around when we get there. Off we go.”
“Ok you crazy one eyed freak.”
“I don’t have only one eye so you better keep your mouth shut.”
They got in, there was room enough for probably twenty adults to fit inside it‘s icy blue walls. The stranger pressed a switch and the power came on. The door that was open from top up then closed to top to bottom. Sie’s insides came out as he felt his body leave his brain and they where off in the underground transporter. In five minutes the torpedo stopped. Sie and the stranger got out.
“Welcome to Black Wave headcounters. If you go down this red carpeted path to that building , walk inside then keep going up the path you will come to another door where you will go in then look for a man with golden hair and a kind of old looking but very powerful sword. I have to go tend to some business so maybe we can talk later. See you.”
“Ok, oh yes is it possible for me to get a sword?”
“I’m sure you can, just ask Vaughn.”
There was everything required for an earth army there plus more such as weapons that didn’t exist, or so many people thought. To the right forward were food makers that actually created food on a floor lower than normal that was carpeted. Above this market there was a shop that when looked into everything anyone needed to stay live. To the left forward there was thousands of high tech computers and, o yes I forgot to mention there was tables of glass in the cafeteria. The computers had virtual screens that showed out and were touch powered. In the middle there was a path that Sie walked along. When he got out of the transporter there was to the right and left of the transporter two fountains. Each of these had worlds surrounded with flags. The whole base was pure white except the cafeteria with colors from different nations. Above the room he was suppose to go into there was a bridge separating the top floors like a mall.
He came to the room witch was pure white. When he went into the room he saw behind the door to the right and left places that did not exist. He thought he was dreaming because he thought earth was far less advanced than that. From studying history he knew that this technology was only upgraded on Atone about 5 years ago. From the door strait on he found another door where he heard voices.
He pushed the door and at once figured that that tall man bossing everyone was the leader. The room had a big round holographic table in it. On the sides people were stationed with more computer equipment. Sie paced over to where the leader was. He had green eyes and was six foot three at the age of twenty one. He had on a great big overcoat that was red going up to his neck. His hair was also spiky but not able to move as much. He strolled around the table and over to Vaughn.
“Sir! A six foot tall man sent me to tell you I want to be recruited for money, Sir.”
“Ok. I bet that was Cypher that you met. If it were Lee he would have told me first that he found a new recruit. If Cypher thinks your good enough then let me take a look at you. How good are you with weapons?”
“Excuse me but what do you mean by Cypher telling me instead of Lee? And I never really used a weapon because where I come from a place they are not needed.”
“Lee has multiple personalities that are Cypher and Lee. Lee is kind of a coward who works alone but Cypher would see great power in people. So you never have looked or used a weapon of any sort?”
“Well where I come from I had a sword that could kill beasts in the forests but that’s it. That sword was taken from me when I was sent here.”
“O gosh. I think I’ll have to train you personally. Are you physically in order?”
“Yes sir. I think I can jump, run, and swim faster than anyone here.”
At this everyone turned at him and all said together “Oh really?” One man about eighteen and six foot two came over and looked at him then just said “Ha ha very funny kid, don’t mess with the best.”
“I will remember that,” Sie said.
“Ok just so you’re warned,” replied the soldier.
“Honestly, why does everyone here seem to be a loser of some sort?”
“Shut up recruit.” At this Sie just looked into those green eyes of the commander and waited. “Well I am Vaughn, the leader of this organization called Black wave and that is Shin, second in command, so you’d better treat him like a role model. Please state your name.”
“I am Secret Sighter Noshynock, Secighter for short, and Sie Noshee for shorter.”
“Strange but that sounds familiar to me, as weird as that may be. How about we take you on a grand tour?”
Tour of Black wave, the Protective Agency
“Hey Sie, Do you know what Black wave is for?”
“Sir, Cypher told me that you protect things and people.”
“Sort of however Black wave is an organization that protects earth from threats such alien attacks or major disasters like global heating.” They came to a room where all guns and weapons of every sort where kept. “Let’s see what we can do about your sword loss.”
“My sword was extra powerful and could repel bullets if needed.”
“Well I have never heard of this place that you say you come from. Could you tell me a bit about it?”
“If you are not afraid of scary movies then sure, I’ll tell. It is called Atone a planet far away from earth. Long ago we came in contact with Earth. We wanted to see what would happen to a non experienced race so we could understand our own history because we had not recorded it yet. My towns are nice and never blackened because we have four suns and the only way to tell the time is a watch. The fields are nice and the forests are awesome.”
“Awesome? We have not used that word for quite a while but I, Lee, and Shin have modified our fighting ability and we have tapped into an energy that makes us stronger than normal humans.”
“Well that’s good. Oh yes, and Atone is much bigger than earth so we are much stronger because of gravity.”
“So that’s why you think you can do all that stuff better than us?”
“Yes, that is why.”
“Than you probably can but I don’t think you could beat us three because we are stronger than normal humans. Now where was I? Oh yes here is a sword that we have come out with only yesterday. It is the Photonic Plasma Blade. The fifteenth model to be exact or known as the PPB-15.” It had a turquoise handle like Sie’s eyes and when the blade came out, these came out when it was gripped with the right hand, and it was the color blood red.
“It is kind of like my old one but its blade was the color green.”
“Well we can change the color easily enough so would you like us to do that?”
“Yes sir.”
“My men will get on it right away.” As he said this he went to the phone of the room and pushed in a number. It rang then he said, “This is Commander Vaughn speaking. I would like a customized PPB-15 in my office as soon as possible. The modifications are a turquoise handle with a green blade. Thanks very much.” Than he hanged up the phone and asked Sie, “Shall we continue?”
“Sure. If you have a gravity room I would really like to use because I’m getting weaker and weaker ever second.”
“Ok. Off to lower level D.” At this the turned right from the gun room strait on onto the stairs going downward then onto the bottom floor turned left then left again and stated going along the stairs then 5 feet farther turning right again into another pure white room with black squares going along it and a computer terminal in the back.
“Here is mine, Lee’s, and Shin’s training room where we can increase the gravity, disrupt the gravity and can make any number of objects to appear. We even play Gun ball in here, in a world that is not real. But don’t worry when you get shot you just freeze till the game ends. Our longest game was three hours in twenty percent normal gravity.”
“This is perfect for me. Could you start increasing the gravity?”
“Ok, I will behind the control panel outside the room.”
Sie saw him walk out and no sooner had Vaughn left then Sie could feel his muscles tightening. Ten percent tightening, ten, fifteen.
“STOP. I think this is what it is. Here let me jump.” Sie jumped up to one point two. “I guess this is two percent higher than the gravity I am used to.”
“Hey, you want to face me one on one in five percent so I can see how far across the line you are?” said Vaughn.
“Sure.” The grounds were set up to bend the gravity and the gravity was set but before the battle was underway Sie‘s sword came in.
The little man carrying it said, “Vaughn, you were not in your office so we delivered it here.”
“Thank you Veteran. You may go now.” The man left. “Time to make you cry Sie. Sword on sword?”
“Not on your life will you make me cry, Deal.”
The battle began.
“GET READY TO DIE. EAAAAAAA!” ((*Vaughn has a big sweat drop go down his forehead.*)) “Your mine.” Sie comes charging at Vaughn as he draws his sword from behind his torn cloak.
“WHAT THE.” Sie says as Vaughn jumps and kicks Sie in the head. “OUCH.” Sie fell back one foot, did a flip then jumped up and says, “Never.” Secighter comes charging in again as Vaughn brings his sword down upon him. Time starts slowing down into slow motion as Secighter dodges the sword, but one thing Secighter did not intend was that Vaughn tripped him slowly. Vaughn grabs Sie as he falls and throws him into the air. Sie screams with anxiety as Vaughn throws his sword at Sie when they are both in the air. Sie falls back five feet again just as he is cut in half and Sie screams as time speeds back up. Than they were both standing ten feet from each other in full form only tired as Vaughn had only moved twice and Sie still thought he was in the air.
“Let me give you some info on my sword. It is called Redemption, a legendary blade forged from the feathers of angels. A prophecy states that it will choose its master and he will become the sword of the heavens. Legend also has it that the soul of sword will not let the chosen one die if it is touching him.”
“Well I guess I will call my sword, Wind. It reminds me of my old sword cutting the vast wind on my planet Atone.”
“That’s good but the reason I beat you is because you kept rushing. Let the enemy make the first move and don’t make it go into slow motion. If you are going to change the speed of time then always make it faster.”
“Yes sir.”
“However I can tell you will be a top ranking officer. Would you like to be a lieutenant just like Lee?”
“I guess but if I’m the only one there I will lead the troops in battle.”
“Ok.” They walked out of the training room and went forward past the stairs in which Vaughn told Sie where he would sleep. The room was dark except for two strands of lights on the bottom of the floor in which everyone could see. The beds were bunks up and down for about 50 feet. “This is the place that all our soldiers sleep but our two lieutenants sleep right here.” He pointed to the bunks to the right of the door. “Lee has the lower bunk so you can have the top one.” Each of the bunks had a mattress with a pad and a silver bedspread with blue sheets and a blue blanket. The whole room was blue which in Sie’s case thinking the only room with any color. “You can go down the bunks till you reach four bathrooms two and two where you can brush teeth, take showers, and go to the bathroom. That, I think is all the places you need to know at the moment so goodnight.”
“Wait a second. How much will I get paid?”
“Depending on the job we do for the world.”
“Around how much per job?”
“All you need to know is that you will get more money here than you will in the highest paying job anywhere.”
“Works for me. Goodnight.”
“Oh yes. I forgot to mention that we have more simulations that hook up to your head. At the foot of each bed there is a laptop. They each have a headset so you can choose between what games you want to play.” General Vaughn walked away as Sie prepared for his nights sleep. As he got ready he was wondering about how many things he would do tomorrow with a great day of training and things to buy. He got snug in his bed, said his prayers and went to sleep within a minute.
Winners are Always Losers at First
“Do you think he is the one?”
“Does it matter?”
“I guess not but still he has to find out sometime.”
“Yes, I agree but let’s let him find that out.”
“Yes Sir.”
The lights on the top of the ceiling and on the bottom of the floor were lit up as…
“Wake up!”
“Never.” Vaughn shook Sie awake. “What time is it?”
“Seven o’clock in the morning.”
“Why do I have to wake up this early?”
“For your training. But first you have to do some shopping and considering your story you have no money so I will have to go with you so that I can make it free.” Sie got out of bed and put on his two day old cloths. Vaughn and Sie went to the store above the market.
Inside the yellow carpeted store there were ten booths that looked like voters booths with khaki tops and sides. As they got closer Sie could see a touch pad computer in each one. He went up to one and in its bottom the computer had a credit card slot. On the computer there was thing’s like bathroom tools, cloths, and accessories. He pushed gently on the bathroom tools as then a few tools came up. It had written on it tooth brush = .50, toothpaste select screen, dental floss select screen, and other medical objects. He pushed tooth brush and a screen came up that said, Please place Credit Card in slot. When this happened Vaughn put his in and the computer screen said again, “Why did it have to be you…” Sie turned and looked at Vaughn with curiosity.
“What?” Sie laughed. “Free?”
“Yes, with this card I can buy anything in the base for free.” Out of a whole above the booth that was black with 4 slits of rubber a tooth brush popped out and Sie caught it.
“Ok, now all I need is toothpaste and I will be ready for training.”
“No floss?”
“Nope.”
“What about cloths?”
“Oh yes, forgot that.” Sie picked his toothpaste then what cloths he liked but instead he just had
the computer scan him and made duplicates of his cloths.
“Ok, just let me put these next to my bed and we can start training. After we get a bite to eat?”
“Sure.” They walked down to Sie’s bunk and put the cloths and toothbrush by it then walked back to the cafeteria.
“What type of food do you like?”
“Well back on Atone we had water, bread, green beans, oranges, cheese, and whale.”
“OMY FREAKING GOSH. You mean that’s all you have ever eaten?”
“Heck ya,” Sie said in a frowning face.
“Well we are going to have to change that. About how much do you eat of that stuff?”
“I usually don’t eat much.”
“Good, you wont waste food.” He laughed as well as Sie. “Well I guess lets go from the beginning. Today lets have Arabic.” They went over to the store standing five feet away and Sie looked at the menu.
“I guess pita bread, lamb, and water will suit me.”
“Wow you really don’t eat much.”
“Glad to see you again Vaughn.” The store manager said in an Arab voice.
“Glad to see you again to, Mahmoud, or in my tongue, Mike.” Vaughn said as they closed in on him.
“Please call me by my real name and who is your friend here?”
“This is Sie, Sie meet Mahmoud, Mahmoud meet Sie.”
“Hello.”
“Yes, and what can I do for you gentlemen or “Soldiers“,” he said in distaste.
“We want some pita bread, lamb, and water and for me umm, because I haven’t been here in a while I’ll take the special.” They sat down and had a wonderful, and weird but good, breakfast that made Sie’s taste buds grateful and his stomach full. When they were done they put there kaki trays on the garbage box, just like a mall.
“Off to the training simulator but first let’s go get Shin, and Lee.” They asked Mahmond where Shin and Lee were and went back to the control room so Vaughn told them, “Hey guys, I want you to see Sie in action.” They agreed they should and they all went down to the simulator.
“Actually could I face you again?” asked Sie.
“Why, I beat you fair and square.”
“Well I want to go at twelve percent higher than normal gravity this time.”
“Ok but I think I’ll still beat you.”
“We will see.” They set up everything and the battle was ready.
Shin said after a moment of pause, “Three... two... one... GO.” Sie started muttered under his breath “Nihma” and he shot an energy blast of white light at Vaughn. Vaughn blocked with redemption sending it strait back at Sie. Sie dodges just in time as Vaughn falls back. A large drop of sweat falls down into the floor at the speed of a bullet. Vaughn rises to one knee. Secret Sighter charges at Vaughn, stops two feet away from him when Vaughn says.
“Come on.” said Vaughn. Secret Sighter takes his sword out and cuts in the middle of Vaughn thinking he hit him as he falls faster than a bullet because of a trip Vaughn set up. Sie touches the ground and does a jump back to his feet back about five feet. Blood appears on Vaughn’s face as a slit from wind had done the undoable.
“It was luck that I hit you but not next time.”
“So it hurts bad. That should please you.”
“HOW DARE YOU.” Sie screamed. “Instantaneous Lunar Challenge.”
“What the heck is that?” Everything in the room went black and filled with stars from outside. Vaughn looks up and sees a moon charging at him with the speed of sound. The moon clashed redemption as a photonic blade in Vaughn’s heart appeared.
“HOW THE HECK…” The room turned white again and both of them were standing up ten feet away from each other as if no one had ever moved.
“I forgot to tell you that I had energy attacks and that moon attack called Instantaneous Lunar Challenge. I used it as a decoy when I came up to you and stuck my sword strait through your heart.”
“I guess you were holding back yesterday.”
“Nope, I just remembered that last night.”
Ha, so that is how you explain it? You have much to learn and first off never charge at your opponent unless they are a weakling. Don’t get close if you don’t require. Now, let’s test your jumping and running. Simulator.” Everything turned into green glossy grass with that fresh smell and daisies everywhere.
“Jump.” Sie did what he was told and jumped going up five, ten, and then fifteen, then twenty and started coming back down to earth. “Good. Now my turn.” He jumped going faster then Sie ten, twenty, till thirty feet then started coming down.
“OMY GOSH! How the heck did you do that?”
“I told you that we are not normal humans and which Lee is not even human if you noticed.”
“WHAT THE!”
“Ya, pretty weird. Now running. Simulator.” The field started to stretch farther then just to about twenty feet starting to excide one hundred. “Go ahead, take off.” Sie started running. Ten… twenty… thirty… fifty miles per hour and all this time Vaughn was at his heel not even trying when Sie looked over his shoulder. Sie was angered and started running faster. Sixty… eighty… one hundred twenty. Sie stopped trying to catch his breath. “Good, but you were doing it for contest when you should not have. My turn.” Vaughn started running. One hundred forty… on hundred eighty… two hundred as he circled back to Sie. He stopped, acting as if he never even ran.
“Grrrrr.”
“You should have not raced but just ran for fun like Me.”
“Well when someone is running after me without it being hard something just clicks.”
“I understand. Your to aggressive. You need to loosen up.” The room became white again with black outlined squares.
“Well from what I can see Sie will learn fast and be a very powerful ally.” said Shin.
“Yes, me too.” said Lee.
“Than it is all settled. Sie will share command as second lieutenant. Agreed?”
“Yes.” Shin and Lee said together as one voice.
“You two are…” Suddenly rumbling from the stairs could be heard. A plump man came down.
“Sir, we have just learned that in one half a year aliens will becoming.”
“Friendly?”
“We don’t know sir but judging on there vital signs they are very strong and deadly.”
“Good work. Announce on the speaker everyone is to get as much training in the next half a year as possible.”
“Sie spoke out as the man was going up the stairs, “Wait! In which direction are they coming?”
“If you want to know where then you had better come with me to the command room.” He then left as behind him they all came. They got to the command room with the holographic table. In the middle of the room above the table was our solar system from the sun to Pluto. There was a yellow line connected to earth with an arrow at the end of the map.
“Could you make the map to show our entire galaxy?” said Sie.
“Yes sir.” The map stated shrinking as the green line got longer and less thick. Eventually one fourth of the milky galaxy was showing.
“Stop.”
“Sir yes sir.”
“Oh, good. I thought the aliens were going to pass my planet but guess not.”
“Well at least some good news.” said Vaughn. He walked over to the left of the room supposing you just walked in, where there was a microphone. “Now here this, now here this, everyone get as much training in the next half year as possible. Aliens are coming. We are not sure they are hostile but just in case, you need to be ready.” He then put the microphone down and tuned around to face them. “I’m hungry, are you three hungry too?”
“Yes.” all three said together. They all walked out and into the cafeteria.
“Ok for lunch let’s have Bulgarian.” They walked over to a man with a beard and mustache in American cloths. “Hello Andra. Long time no see.”
“Yes it has been a long time hasn’t it Vaughn.” They shook hands.
“We will have the normal full man lunch.” They all got the food at the same time and went to a table. The lunch was delicious with fish, wheat not spoiled, and water of the best you can find. On the side of each dish was a salad fit for a king.
When they were all full from the lunch, Lee and Shin had to leave. “Goodbye Sie, and keep it up.” called Lee as they were leaving.
When they were out of sight Vaughn said, “Oh, so you arrived on this planet yesterday? Do you want to look around the planet?”
“Yes, I arrived yesterday but don’t we have to train instead of sight seeing?”
“I said that they have but not us besides a half a year is long enough.”
“Ok, I’ll go but do we have to use the torpedo?”
“No, if you’d like.”
“Ok.” They walked back to the simulator.
“Simulator, train Sie with a MG-1.”
“Sure thing Vaughn.” the computer said in a girl voice.
“Strange, it talks.”
“Duh, I will see you in five minutes.” As he left the room, it turned into a carrier were a MG-1 lay behind Sie. He looked around and saw the jet.
“Computer, should I get in?”
“Yes. I will continue from there.” Sie looked strait on at the jet which made it look like an X with a line through it. If he looked sideways it was a + with a cross going from top left down to bottom right. When he was still standing at the back he saw where the plane would make its flame and make it fly. There where two wings at the front that made a forty-five degree angle with a flap on each in the middle. The jet had a pointy pole at its head. The body was plane silver as a cylinder only at the top where the pole was curved into the pole. In the back of the jet there was four wings made of sliver metal. The plane was resting on its bottom two wings. The wings went back to the end of the jet and just stopped. It was strange beyond all reason how that was going to fly but Sie did not doubt much that it would.
“Umm, computer. How do I get in?”
“You go under the plane to the middle where the front wings are.”
“Thanks.” He ducked under it and came to a circle of light. He stepped into the light and all of a sudden he was in the plane in a ball. In the front he could see outside the plane. In the back he could see the back of the plane and so forth with the sides. He was standing in air.
“To start the plane you just say your name.”
“Secret Sighter Noshynock.” The planes engine ignited and the back wings started becoming visible, a blue shiny coat that was always swaying in the wind as it seemed not connected to itself because it broke in places of radiance, as a fire does. Sie was officially freaked out now.
“Now the training begins.” the computer said in a mysterious type of voice.
“Oh shoot, computer I forgot to tell Vaughn that I can fly.”
“I am telling him that now and he is on his way sorry for taking you somewhat into the lesson.” The computer said as she slowed down to a stop and the white room came back into view.
The quiet pit pat of Vaughn’s walking could be heard at the stair way. Suddenly Vaughn’s dirty face came into view as he strolled toward Sie.
“Sir I forgot to tell you but I can fly.”
“I see. Well let’s go then.” They walked out of the simulator and up the stairs facing the computer room with the cafeteria to their right. Vaughn continued to walk to the torpedo shaped transport until he was there.
“I thought you said.”
“We have to get to the docking bay which requires the torpedo.”
“Ok ok ok.”
The door flung open and they walked inside. Vaughn pushed a button on the transport’s control panel and they were off. In one minute however they came to a stop where above the door Sie could see the words “Docking Bay.” The door opened and Sie could see hundreds of Mg-1s. Vaughn strolled over to one and got inside just as Sie did in the simulation. The engines fired up but Sie could not see Vaughn on the top of the ship. His voice could be heard clearly though.
“Follow me.” The ship rose without a sound except for the burning engine hitting the air into a clear steam. It blasted off into the deep sky as Sie rose to his feet and then flew after it.
The ship and Sie started traveling on top of water when the loudspeakers of the ship screamed out “This is the Pacific Ocean and we are headed to Antarctica. It is frozen so you might want to have one of the suits in my cargo.”
“No thanks I can heat myself with flame.”
“You are truly full of surprises.”
“Thanks.” They kept going for five minutes until Sie could see a big stretch of land. The ship next to him on his right started falling. He stopped in mid air and looked down at the ship. “Well guess I will bungee jump without a bungee.” All of a sudden all his power disappeared and he started falling. The breeze in the air suffocated him. The nice cool smell of the Ocean and ice kept him alive for the time being. He was really enjoying it. After falling for twenty seconds he started doing one eighty flips and then a one eighty flip three sixty twist which made a misty and then hit the ground with a nice smooth stomp.
Sie lifted his hands and crossed them. Slowly he uncrossed them and a ball of light could be seen in each hand. Slowly the balls smoothed out stretching over his body making a red glow emit from him.
“Well, I am quite warm. You?” Sie hears heavy breathing of a mechanical being.
“Yes, I’m fine.” Sie looked to his left and saw little black gentlemen in tuxedos.
“What are those?” said Sie.
“Penguins.” responded Vaughn. They walked over but the penguins just scurried away from them. “Well, I don’t think they are going to let us play with them. Shall we move on?”
Let’s.” They strolled over to the airplane and Vaughn got in. The fire of the engines started and Sie started hovering. They both took off from the South Pole heading towards the beautiful land of Australia. As they neared a city Sie could see sails on a building. Just as soon as he saw it Vaughn turned around and went back to the south of the city till they reached the ocean three miles out. Suddenly, Sie was not sure what they were doing, in the ocean; a square could be seen rising up from the water. As soon as all the water was cleared off of its top, the top of the square started sliding across the water and inside the unblocked piece of square Sie could see blackness.
“VAUGHN,” shouted Sie. “Do you want me to go into that hole? Couldn’t you outline it with lights or something?
“Yes, I do want you to go in but we decided on no lights just incase our history was made into a movie and I like darkness,” Vaughn shouted back laughingly. The jet next to Mr. Noshee started plummeting again. Sie started falling feet first into the hole. Finally he took the jet and started falling with it. Suddenly his ears hurt like crazy. He could see an end 40 feet down. They landed.
“Pressurizing…,” said a strange computer voice unlike the one back at the simulator. “Complete.” Sie Noshynock could see the square clearly but then it became blurry and more blurry until it looked close to transparent. Then they started falling again. By the way, Sie felt his ears pressurize and not hurt as much. Sie’s nose started picking a new scent instead of sea water, the smell of stalactites and stalagmites dipped in a feel of water. This was the smell of caverns. Finally, he saw a landing pad. He and the ship landed.
Unexpected Meeting
As soon as they landed they were tended by a secretary. The secretary brought them to a room and then left them alone.
“Sorry about that, that was my secretary, Meg. Now, how about some sight seeing of this place?”
“Sure.” They started walking across the cavern floor until they reached some stairs. Vaughn took the stairs with Sie following him.
They continued up the stairs until Vaughn saw a dead end but kept walking. When they got to the end, Vaughn pushed on the railing surrounding the caverns and emerged into daylight streaming onto hot rock. After the tourists got out of the caves Vaughn closed the rock and they both looked, below the cliff they were standing on, to a great city.
The journey was not far and did not take long for the two unwary travelers. As they neared the city they could see many of the things you would see in a typical city but they also found some untypical city. They saw animals that only exist in the outback, or home on the range if you prefer. The city had Mc. Donald’s, a fast food place that is not very good, and other restaurants and food stands of this nature.
As they were walking Vaughn asked, “Would you like to see business, agriculture, or politics first?”
For which Sie responded, “Business.”
They walked around the streets to downtown, you would think that Vaughn would have been here before and would know exactly where he was going but he seemed to be a bit nervous. Sie noticed this.
“Why are you sweating like a Malack?”
“Malack, what the heck is that?”
“You know, a delicious supper that has a tail and runs around squealing eating scraps of the table?”
“A dog or a pig?”
“Umm, could you enlighten me?”
“A dog eats table scraps off a table and a pig runs around with a curly tail and squeals and eats scraps off a trough on a farm. The pig makes a tasty dinner, but we don’t eat dogs.”
“Well than a pig, I guess.”
“It is a pleasure to have this talk but I must insist we concentrate on where we are going.”
“Well sorry…”
They kept walking till they met “huge” skyscrapers and decided to enter one. They discussed it and decided to enter a black glass building that was covered in a silver lined grid. The name was written on a board right above the entrance… Nocturnal Classroom. As they were walking in, Vaughn asked a question.
“Do you know the history of the earth?”
“Just briefly,” replied Sie.
“What did they teach you?”
“
